A provider's "About Us" page is written to build trust — that's its whole job. Here's what to actually look for versus what's just polish.

What's worth taking seriously

A real, specific company history rather than vague claims. Named leadership or clinical advisors, ideally with verifiable credentials. A physical business address, not just a PO box or nothing at all. Specific licensing or accreditation claims that could theoretically be checked.

What's mostly just polish

Stock photography of smiling models standing in for "our team." Generic mission statements that could apply to literally any healthcare company. Vague claims like "trusted by thousands" without any specifics or sourcing behind them.

The honest test

Could you take a specific claim from this page and actually verify it somewhere else — a licensing board, a business registry, a named clinician's credentials? If everything on the page is unfalsifiable by design, that's worth noticing, even if nothing on it is technically untrue.
